Introduction

Mobile iMapp is a handy addition to your main desktop iMapp web application and a great helper in your daily real estate outside activities.

Important! Mobile iMapp is not a mobile application: it is not installed via mobile app stores, but it is a mobile version of desktop web iMapp which still requires a browser and is adjusted for smartphone use only. Tablet users will have access to the regular iMapp desktop web version.

Mobile iMapp allows you quickly find properties on the map or by the address, check favorite item’s report details or look up for previously viewed property page, which means that you have all the most important iMapp data and functionality at hand in your smartphone anytime and anywhere



Log in

To log in to Mobile iMapp, use the same login details you have for your desktop iMapp web version.

MLS member

If you are an MLS member of a client board, your account will be automatically setup through their membership system and dues. To access Mobile iMapp you need to open your MLS website/dashboard in your smartphone browser, then find the iMapp application in MLS partner’s dashboard, services or resources list. Click the iMapp icon there to be taken to Mobile iMapp page (the system will automatically recognize that you’re logging via smartphone and you’ll be taken to Mobile iMapp version). Most MLS login pages have a SSO login method to allow you to seamlessly access Mobile iMapp if you have been logged into other MLS-provided software. If you are not automatically logged in to iMapp, you will be suggested to log in using SSO - go ahead and click that button to log in:

Not MLS member

If you are not an MLS-affiliated iMapp subscriber, you can access iMapp with your individual subscription. To get the access to Mobile iMapp use the same username and password you’re using to login to your desktop iMapp web application. Use credentials from sign up conformation email you’ve got for the web version: enter your user name and password provided in the email. Note: by default your username is your email address.

If you haven’t used desktop iMapp web application yet, to get access to Mobile and Desktop Web iMapp you’ll need to sign up for an account on our website New Subscriber - Select Plan. When sign up is completed, you’ll get login information details by the email which was used during registration.


Main Screen Options Overview

Mobile iMapp map view is default option you’ll see after login in. The view includes interactive map with map interface tools in the center, quick search and log out options at the top, and buttons to access Track me, Bookmarks, History, Account and Help options at the bottom of the main screen.


Mobile iMapp Map Browse

After log in to Mobile iMapp you’ll see a map view with the access to the main mobile map features, which include map browse and property analysis.

Map

By default, the Map displays an area where you are located or the location of the last iMapp report viewed. Use Zoom in/out buttons or your fingers to adjust the map view. You can zoom in to see more details such as streets and houses, or zoom out to see less are overview. Use rotation button or fingers to change map perspective. Two fingers sliding up/down simultaneously, or rotated will change perspective. To return to North orientation, tap the two arrows perspective button.

Map Layers

Under zoom and rotation buttons you can find Map Layers option to customize the map content and layout.

Tap on layers button to see all options which are available in your mobile iMapp, including Base Map types and Parcel Annotations layers. To change the base map, select and touch your desired background; to switch on/off layers, check the required layer’s box. For further map layer details, see our guide at how to work with the layers in Mobile iMapp. To close Map Layers dialog box, touch the X button.

Property Overlays

Property Overlays bar is available at the bottom of the map view. You can use checkboxes to turn on and off the visibility of various layers with listed property statuses on the map view. The listing status layers refer to real estate listing data.

Identify the Property

From the map, you can quickly get property details using Identify option. To do this, find a property on the map and tap on it to bring up the property info tiles:

As in desktop iMapp, Identify mode shows brief information about the property. These files include general information about the building, listing, and sales information. Switch between the info tiles by using the buttons on the left-side menu to see all summaries:

  • building and property information, important notes, listing overview
  • owner(s) information
  • photos (if any)
  • MLS data (if any)

For complete detailed property data about the identified property, tap the Details button on the right-side menu. This will open full screen property reports for this property (Property Tax report will be opened by default). The reports include full property information available in iMapp. See Report Details below for more info.

Additional tools are available above the Details option on the right-side menu you can find Links, Email and Saved options:

  • Tap button Link to see the links to external services where you can fins more data this property on these sources. Select any of the options and you’ll get directly to the service where this item will be listed.
  • If you want to send the report to an associate or client, tap Email: the option allows sending an email of the main tax report for this property. Press the button and fill in the lines to add recipient and comments in the dialog box.
  • To add the property report to favorites, use Save button: the report will be saved to Bookmarks and you can open it any time using bookmarks option at the bottom of the screen. Mobile and desktop iMapp use a combined bookmark list, so your bookmarks are available in both systems.

To close the property report summary, tap the X button at the top of the pop-up. This will return you to the map interface.


Measure

Mobile iMapp allows you to measure the size of the property. To activate Measure option, find property on the map and long-press on it, without moving (approximately 2 seconds).

Mobile Quick Search is the best solution for quick property search using the address of the item you’re interested in. The option is placed at the top of Mobile iMapp screen. To start the search, you need to tap on Blue Magnifying glass button and type the address in pop-up search field. As you type, matching property reports will be suggested by iMapp. Tap on the desired result to see more information: tap the Blue Full Report button to be taken directly to the property report or tap Red Map button to open property’s location on the map view.

Quick Search is available on from the map, identify, and report pages of the application, letting you start the search anytime. If you are in another tool, you may need to close it to activate the blue search button option again. Check here for details on how search in Mobile iMapp.

Mobile iMapp Log Out

When your work with iMapp is done, tap Sign Out button to end the session and log out from Mobile iMapp. The Sign Out button is located at the top of the screen, with a blue door/arrow icon.

Track Me

Track Me option allocates the map according to your location: when you tap the button, iMapp will identify your geo position, display the map in this geographical area, and highlight your location with purple circle on the map (find out more here). The map will rotate like a compass as you turn right or left. Track me is great option to analyze the properties around you in the field or at a property location, so that you can get all the background details on that property and nearby ones quickly.

Note, you may get a notification from your browser to allow iMapp get your location data. Click Allow to processed.


To turn off Track Me mode, tap on Track Me button one more time. To return to North orientation, tap the two arrows perspective button.


Bookmarks

Bookmarks option allows you to see all property reports you’ve saved using the property report Bookmark+ option. All bookmarked items are synchronized, which means that favorite reports which were saved in mobile iMapp and in desktop iMapp will be available in the list of Bookmarks in your smart phone and in your desktop automatically.

To get to the list of Bookmarked items, tap on Bookmarks button:

Each item in the list of Bookmarks include saved property address details, the date when the item was added to Bookmarks, and two action buttons: tap Blue Full Report button to be taken directly to the property report or tap Red Map button to open property’s location on the map view. History

History is a quick access to your activities in iMapp: in Mobile iMapp the list includes all viewed property reports, including comparables. History includes 1 month data, including both your mobile and desktop iMapp views.

Note: the property report will be added to History list only if you open full report (via Details button). Find more details in Mobile iMapp- Property View History user guide.

The list is sorted by date and time, the newest views come first. Each record is clickable, just tap on the desired result to open property report again: tap Blue Full Report button to be taken directly to the property report or tap Red Map button to open property’s location on the map view.

Account

Mobile iMapp account settings include your personal data which is used in iMapp, both mobile and desktop. Tap Account button to view and change your contact details, and other settings.

Help

Help option includes help articles and contact form to submit a request directly to iMapp support.

Mobile Property Report view

To get all property data, select the item from the map → press on it → on pop-up property info tiles, find and tap ‘details’ button (it’s located on the right-side menu) → Property Tax report will be opened by default:

To switch between report types, use horizontal scroll at the top of the report page, where all available reports are listed. When you tap and drag left or right, you’ll be able to select the report type in this report header. Your current report is highlighted with red line:

Property reports are a powerful information source about the property. The reports include detailed property information, analytics, statistics, comparison analysis, data charts and visualization graphs. Use vertical scroll to see report’s data blocks. All reports, which are available for the property item in desktop version of iMapp, are presented in Mobile iMapp, including Property Tax, Valuation Analysis, MLS Listings, Comparable Properties, and other reports. Reports' information blocks include both data gathered from real estate and third party data sources, iMapp calculations, and comparison statistics. Check out iMapp Property Reports User Guide to learn more about each report and its structure.

In addition, links to external services are available for this property, press the links (chain) button at the top of the report page. A popup with a list of possible 3rd party websites will appear: select any of the options and you’ll be taken directly to the service where this item is listed.

To close detailed property report view and go back to map view, click X button at the top of the report page:
