Search Results Page

Map and Properties List

When Start Search is clicked, you will quickly receive the results for any property that matches your criteria: the Results page includes 2 main sections, Map and Properties List. These two sections display the same properties, but give you great opportunity to view properties on the map to analyze the location and area, and see the list with property overview for each item found based on your criteria:

The Map includes the house icons: the number of the icon coincide with the property number in the Property list section. Click on the icon to jump to the property in the list. Use mouse or touch pad to zoom in and out for convenient map view!

The Property List on the search Results page shows a list of all matching properties. To see one detailed report, click on the blue report button on the right side.

The Property List can be further customized: hide, restore, change the number of properties per page using the settings above the list (use check boxes to select the items). Filters are also there: click the drop down “Results Not Sorted” to see all filtering options.

How to save search, modify criteria and display the results on the map

If you want to further refine, expand, or otherwise change your search, you can adjust your previous parameters by clicking Modify Criteria on the right side of the screen.

Don’t forget to save the search fields and criteria if you have found what you need and may want to do that search again in the future. Click Save Search to have access to this search again in the future. Note: this does not save the specific properties that you found, but instead the search criteria. If you do that search again at a later time, you may receive a different set of results if the data has changed.

Download, Print and Mail Labels options for search results page

Property Results page can be saved for your further work: share the data about the matching properties as a file with your colleagues, email it to your clients, or just print it to have it in your paper reports. To do this, the options Download and Print are available.

Mail Labels allows you to create address labels from your search results for envelopes, postcards, or mail merge: click Mail Labels → select customization by selecting content → choose file format → make a decision on labels page layout → work on customization if you need to remove duplicates, change the title or add text alignment → press Create Labels. The file will be generated and saved on your computer.

Getting to Property Report data

Select and click property item on the Search Results page, to see a full report of what information is available for each property, you need to select the blue report icon for one property item in the Property list to see a full report for that property. In the upper right corner of that Property Report, you can use arrows to page through to other results from your search.

Property reports list and map view

Additional Reports are available for each property from the Report type menu in the upper right corner, including tax information (Property Tax report), Listing History, Valuation Analysis, demographics stats (Demographics report). Important: not all reports are available for all property items found! If some particular data is not found for this item, the data report is not shown in the list of the options. To see the details on the reports and the data they include, go to IMAPP Property Reports user guide and Property Reports video tutorial.

Each report has its own number of property information blocks (the blocks of data which display the details on ownership, sales, building, schools, etc.). Most reports also include the map view.

The map view works not only for property visualization, but as a powerful tool to find and check the properties nearby the one which was selected.

Property Reports data exporting

If you want to output any report from the list, use the option which is the most suitable for your business: Save as PDF, print it out by clicking Print or email it immediately using Email option. When the report is sent via email, the recipient will get a static public link to the same report you are seeing: this means that this person doesn’t need to have iMapp access to view it and won’t be able to see other properties or export the data.

Bookmarks and external data sources

If you want to add the property report to favorites, use Bookmarks option: the reports will be saved to Bookmarks and you can open it any time using bookmarks option on the main menu bar.

The Bing Map, Directions, Google Maps, Google Solar and a variety of other possible options are the external services where you can check the data available for this item on these sources. Click on any of the options and you’ll get directly to the service where this item will be listed.

Comparable Properties tool

Within the report types you can find a tool to compare properties: Comparable Properties is used for market properties analysis to quickly evaluate the property’s potential market price by examining sales data for comparable properties in the area.

Comparable Properties page includes the sections with the property information (subject property data is about the property which was used to generate Property report, the one which was available before you clicked Comparable Properties), the map where the property and its comparables are displayed, some statistics which includes numbers available in our data sources and calculated by iMapp based on price numbers from comparable properties list, projected sale price which is calculated based on compared properties' data, criteria to change the properties' parameters and recalculate all values, and list of comparable properties which are used for comparison calculations on sales prices and statistics. Check out Comparables Video Tutorial and Comparable Properties Tool User Guide to learn more.

The data which is displayed in property reports can be controlled and customized: you can hide the information you don’t need in the settings Show Report Sections. Use check boxes in this section to hide/unhide the blocks of data available for each report type based on your preferences.
