Explained: Phone Numbers

IMAPP Contains Telephone Numbers attached to some properties, where available, that can be seen on reports and downloaded in some cases. We acquire these phone numbers from a variety of sources that vary from location to location.

We attempt to limit these numbers to those that match the owner or close relative or those have other official connection to the property.

We also link out to 3rd party vendors to allow users to look up phone numbers from other sources.This link is indicated by a note next to the owners name. This link is available ONLY when the owner appears to be an individual person (not a corporation or other legal entity), AND when we do not have a phone number for the owner in our own internal database.

Restrictions on Use

We, and our vendors, do attempt to process data against national do-not-call lists, however there are timing and technical issues that prevent us from guaranteeing that the phone numbers are available to be called. There may be places in the IMAPP product that indicates that the phone number is on a do not call list.

Important: There are multiple laws and other restrictions on use of phone numbers, including (but not limited to) laws that vary by the state of the caller, the state of the call recipient, the intent of the call, how the number is dialed, as well as how long it has been since the number has been checked against any applicable do-not-call lists. Since those factors are outside of our control, THE END USER is responsible for verifying the legality of using the phone numbers for their particular use case.
