Suggested Search - Foreclosure Upcoming Auctions

IMAPP includes a series of Suggested Searches to help you get started with some common tasks and learn how searching can work. When you click on the "Foreclosure Upcoming Auctions" suggested search, the fields of the search page will reload with some search fields populated.

This will search within all IMAPPs foreclosure records in a selected county that are through the foreclosure process and scheduled to be auctioned at a public sale. These properties are schedule to be auctioned to satisfy outstanding debts (etc), after those claims have been adjudicated. Scheduled auctions are subject to change. Note: conduct all due diligence before bidding at properties at foreclosure auctions.

The default settings will show "Judgement Sale Date" greater than "today". This translates to any scheduled auction in the future. You can pick alternate date ranges if desired. This particular search also includes "Judgement Amount" greater than a selected amount, which indicates how much is owed to the lender in the courts judgement. This is an optional criteria, but could indicate how much the lender in question is hoping to recoup in the auction and may affect the willingness to sell a property.

The search interface is highly customizable. You can also choose alternate "Property Location" regions, draw a your own geographic shape on the reference map, or add other filters by filling in more lines or selecting other fields from the search fields list. Each additional item you add further focuses the results to just what you want. You can also remove some lines from consideration by deleting whatever is in the "Search Value" for that line.
You can click "Start Search" to do the search as prepared. This search will find all properties in a county that are scheduled for upcoming auction sales in the selected value range. From the results of this search, you can download data for matching properties or create mailing labels to contact the property owners.
