Tax Report: Property Information Overview Section
The first section of the Property Tax Report contains the Property Information section.
Property Information start with PID (also known as Folio, Parcel ID, Account Number, Strap, etc). This is the main identifier number used by the local agencies in charge of valuation and tax collection, as well as mapping, deed, and legal documents. You can click on PID number link to be taken to county appraisers website with details of that property and to see the newest information directly from the data source (or additional confirmation or details on the property).
Below the PID is the Property address, as assigned by the county (and USPS). The Owner Name and Address follows this (the owner may be a corporation, trust and may have a different mailing address than the property). If we have phone numbers on records for the owner, the phone number will show up below the Owner Name.
Further down will be assessment Land details, including Land Use categories, Land Size, waterfront and other land related data. Finally you will see any available Legal information, including subdivision names, Development Names, Legal description, Map grids and plat book information. This data is useful in researching and filing deeds.
