Search - Quick Search Input
Quick Search
The Quick search option is available on all iMapp System pages and allows to run a quick search by Property Address, Listing Number, or Owner Name. The Quick Search bar is located in right side of the header bar of the iMapp page.
The most common use for this is to quickly type an address of a property you are interested in. As you type the address, possible matching properties will pop up in a list below the quick search bar. You do not need to type the entire address, nor city or zipcode to find a match. Click on the desired result to go to a report or map for that property.
Similarly, a user can type the Name of a Property Owner in the Quick Search bar. The system will attempt to match the name, as you type it, with properties owners in the area. The system will try to deal with minor differences in name formatting and the pats of the names you type, based on the owner name data as we have it for the property.
Occasionally nicknames and the exact formatting of a name may interfere with getting a perfect match. In a case where you are searching for a very common name or partial name, there may be too many results to get effective results from a a "quick search". In that case you may be better suited with a standard iMapp Search in a specific county.
On most iMapp pages, the quick search interface allows to search for a specific property by address, but on the Map Search Interface, you may also enter geographic limiters, such as zip codes, city names, and others help you quickly narrow your map region down.
